My friend sent me some art found online... And it was like a visual symbol of myself and another precious person in our lives. So thoughtful. X

And you?

I hope you will find a reason to smile today, if you haven't yet, no matter how small. Sometimes we need to search for it myself, rather than await for others to make it happen. I just got lucky today. X

Today I smiled because I got to the end of my workday without any spiders crawling in my ear. This happened to me at the beginning of December and so traumatised me that each day since, when I get home from my shift, I smile with deep gratitude to have escaped a repetition of that particular experience.

I smiled today because a certain someone gave me countless meaningful reasons too.

Because my best mate is bloody funny and can make me laugh in just one text.

Because other friends chat and make me smile everyday,

Because of my kids and how cute and funny I find them,

And weirdly I love driving and that made me smile too.

And smiled becuased despite being in lockdown I'm still free from things that once held me back.

My lovely stepdaughter brought me some shopping. It’s the most random collection of items but I love how sweet she is

"I smiled at the crocuses I saw blooming and the fact it was light when I went to work at half 6 this morning. "

It makes such a difference seeing blooming nature.. I smiled today because of that too.

Yes saves her coming and going early and late. During the day she’s doing her own thing. It’s a huge help x

And you?

I hope you will find a reason to smile today, if you haven't yet, no matter how small. Sometimes we need to search for it myself, rather than await for others to make it happen. I just got lucky today. X "
