I don't know Meghan the wealthy former actress personally. I'm not sure why she would have married for money when she's independently wealthy.

I find it distasteful to speculate on when a young couple (expecting their second baby) are likely to split up regardless of who they are.

I definitely wouldn’t thank you for all that press intrusion and the restricting lifestyle of joining the monarchy, giving up your life and identity as you knew it, however “rich” it made me. I think they are just a couple who want to live their lives as normal as they can. Privacy respect and normality is what I think she wants.

In answer to your question, I’d like to think they will be together for a long time, if the pressure and bullying of the papers didn’t break them, in fact had a reverse effect, they ultimately walked away from the establishment altogether and are now on baby no 2, I think they are genuine

Meghan doesn’t need the money. All this bluster we are seeing in media about her stems from the royal family setting their attack dogs on the one couple on the planet that can bring them down. I really wish they had this kind of energy for Prince Andrew and his n*ncing

fair point about andrew but he and royals arent part of the question, is she a hard faced gold digger?

Yeah, that’s a fair point Meghan had money before but Harry is a different league. We’re these kinds of questions being levelled at Kate before she married Wills? She’s from even less privileged means than Meghan. I WONDER what the difference is. Whilst Andrew isn’t part of the question, he’s absolutely part of the narrative because the Crown is looking for something, ANYTHING to deflect attention. Is what Meghan is being accused of, I say accused as yet I’ve not seen a single thing that has come from a legit source, worse than what Andrew is being accused of with seemingly more damaging evidence?

When it’s all out in the wash, I hope that people see the royals for what they are, useless benifits scroungers

I dont think shes a gold digger shes made choices that have likely lost her money tbf. I do wish people would leave them alone though. Stop comparing them to others, constantly picking at their relationship, criticising them as people. Its so unnecessary.

Was Wallis a gold digger? She and Edward remained married until Edward (David's) death in 1972. They were married for 35 years. Whatever we think of him, her and their politics, they clearly married for more than money. I don't think you abdicate the crown for a mere fling.

I have no views on Harry and Meghan, they should be free to live their lives as they see fit. Harry being born into the royal family wasn't his choice and it's not a pleasant idea to me that I might have to do things a certain way just because I happened to be born into the royal family.

If I wanted to disentangle myself from my parents or wider family, there's nothing stopping me from doing that, no-one else outside my immediate family would know or care, so why shouldn't Harry have the same options?
