Do you and your partner ever go off to separate rooms, and have a wonderful, orgasmic time? All alone. All night. Asleep. And cosy. Without anyone stealing the duvet?

Especially given we've a semi-senile dog in our room fidgeting for much of the night, when one of us gets fed up and goes to the spare room, we both have a far better night.

And last night... I've almost finished converting my loft, so tried out sleeping up here for the first time... it felt like camping as a kid, so exciting!

I think separate rooms every night is the way forward.

I couldn't do separate rooms, I love cuddling up too much and having K next to me. We do have separate single duvets though which solves the sheet stealing

We sleep in separate rooms at home because we annoy each other too much.

Strangley we have no problem sleeping together when away in our little caravan.

Yeah I know that one, we still have the monitor on to my daughters room, so it's really lovely hearing my wife comfort her if she wakes up sad and in need of a little cuddle. So sweet.

I think people should do what works for them, and there shouldn't be pressure to HAVE to share a bed.

I love a bed to myself but on occassions snuggle up for a night with a friend when needed

It is an open forum for all types of discussion, there was no need to be mean.

Take a look around and how many swinging threads do you actually see?

No, not mean, just more that you seemed to miss the point of the thread.

But that isn't what this thread is about.

It is about a couple sleeping in separate rooms for a change, not playing in separate rooms.

Well apologies. We were commenting on the sleeping in seperate rooms and having an "orgasmic time".
