Just curious, as I'm always described as a stocky build but what exactly is peoples definition of stocky?, fat?

I assumed it was to describe broad shoulders/chest area. So not necessarily fat.

Broad but not tall with it. They're not saying you're short, just that you're.not tall. It doesn't mean fat though - or at least it shouldn't...

I knew a women's rugby prop from Derbyshire who I would describe as "stocky". Utterly gorgeous and barely an ounce of fat on her, but short and powerful. Went like a train too!!
