Sorry to be pedantic but, hang on I’m not sorry more a little embarrassed that it bothers me so much.

There is no such thing as red sauce. It is tomato sauce or tomato ketchup.

Brown sauce is the actual name of the sauce not just it’s description.

Nobody calls mayonnaise whit sauce do they.

Anyway, brown sauce on sausage, brown sauce on bacon unless an egg is thrown into the mix in which case it’s tomato sauce for me.
