My email number for today = 0.

My email number for the week was 9 and that was just corresponding and having a laugh with people on my friends list and the forums and NOT emails from new contacts.

I don't think women realise how lucky they are receiving emails and having the attention they do and i'm sure they would absolutely hate not getting any messages/attention at all.

I do think a lot of people are getting a bit complacent and taking getting messages for granted, and as such are not not treating them with the respect they should do.

Maybe the answer would be to hide a profile until that person has had the time to go through and reply to the emails people have taken the time to write and send them, and then re-display your profile again.

i get on average 1 yes one mail a day, but thats usually from someone i've spoken to in the forums, or someone who has replied in private from the forums, so can i please pretty please have something different in my inbox, and i promice nicely to put something equally nice in your inbox too

I think it's totally understandable that single girls will always get the lions share of messages and mail. Couples too get their fair share as we do. Equally it's understandable that the guys maybe get a little frustrated, but that's the way of the world when it comes to swinging. I take nothing for granted hun.

I will go thru my mail and try and keep up with the people i am already corresponding with - by recognising profile pic etc.

Any messages that look crap on instant glance automatically get deleted - so the ones i wish to peruse later get left unopened til i get time.

ok - that may be a day or 3 - but why should i hide my profile - when alot of people dont even log in for a few days at a time- OR dont even reply to youor mail again when you DO dain to reply???

If its read and not deleted - means i am looking.

If its not read - that means i am busy and shall read soon.

If its just delted then i am not interested.

Simple as really...!!!

Some men are total cocks with what they say. Messages should be treat with respect??? What the fuck !!!

Half the messages are cut and paste! Another 25 % are illiterate bollocks and a further 20% asking for a meet in the first message whilst having no picture to appraise and a profile which says nothing. SOME men who winge should change sex for a month and see how they like the crap we receive.

As a final note thank god for the last 5% of messages as that is what we filter through the rest for.
