Weather vs Whether vs Wether

So today I misspelt whether as wether and I knew it looked wrong but microsoft word wasn’t picking up that the word wether was incorrect. So I googled it and was shocked to find firstly it IS a word and secondly the meaning is just as shocking.

Does anyone know what the word WETHER means without looking up it’s definition?? If not, care to take a guess before looking it up??
