I'm actually surprised at how little my hair has grown in length, it's not been cut since November 2019! There's undoubtedly a lot more grey showing now though.

M's hair is the same as before lockdown because he zips it all off every few days with a razor

Not at all, it was long before, its long now (though its grown a bit of course, it's almost hip length now).

I don't colour it and it only gets a slight trim every 12-18 months so it looks basically the same, just longer.

I had mine cut just before this last lockdown but it grows so quick that it's far longer than i like it. It's so curly too and in great condition because i don't use heat on it. I just hate the length

I think it’s really hard to try and get good results when cutting it yourself, I imagine it’s difficult even if you are a professional as someone said on here. It’s just not the same of trying to cut it while looking in a mirror I guess.

There and to the left a bit

Usually have it shaved to a 2 crop back and sides and shortened on top - during the first lockdown I let it grow but my hair is so thick it just goes to a wavy blob - had it cut once at a barbers last July or August and have since just cropped it to a 3 crop all over twice

Not one tiny bit. I have hair clippers and for a long time I've just given myself a 7 all over.

At the start of 2020 my hair was just past my shoulders, all one length and more or less one (chemically enhanced) colour.

14 months later (since I last entered a hairdresser) it's about 6 inches longer, therefore my 'roots' are also 6 inches long and look stupid, albeit in good condition due to no dye whatsoever. Having come this far I'm going to totally grow out my natural colour, complete with a smattering of greys which (I'm kidding myself) look like highlights (if your eyesight is a bit dodgy).

It would have been even longer but I fell for a cut-it-yourself YouTube video of the so called 'unicorn' method (NOT recommended) and have ended up with uneven front layers much shorter than I'd expected which unfortunately reminds me somewhat of Bon Jovi circa 1985

In short I look a bloody mess!

Have you used colourb4 before? It's a ball ache as you have to rinse it for 10 mins then add buffer solution and rinse again for 10 mins to close the cuticle but it does work well at getting colour out of hair. I've used it a few times.

Mr K just shaves his every couple of weeks.

I usually get a trim and my roots bleached every 4 weeks. Last time was mid Nov so the roots were a couple of inches. Got Mr K to help me do a home bleaching kit and it was OK ish.

A couple of my more cheeky staff made 'Trump' comments. I've sacked them all and had another go at the bleaching so it's OK now.

The staff have learned their lesson, my wages bill is lower and I've got lovely blonde hair again... all good in the hood.
