Thigh gaps????

What is the deal about thigh gaps?

Always thought they were a bit of a insta show off novelty type thing , enhanced and photos shopped.

I always embraced not having one so if I drop my phone while on the loo my chunky thighs will never let me down and protect my phone from toilet doom.

Last week I took a photo though and noticed that size 14 me had a small gap...I ignored it , thought it was a trick of the light or something.

Took a pic for Sir yesterday and again I noticed I have a thigh gap... certainly not insta worthy but at 41 not planning on showing the entire Internet anytime in the future.

It put a smile on my face though but I don't know why.

So what is the deal with the thigh gap? Please someone enlighten me.

Im certainly gonna be holding onto to my phone more tightly when on the loo from here on in.

I dont really have a gap and men love the warmth of my big thighs.. just a look some men think is hot.. i think warm firm soft skin is better than a visual

Men do like thicker thighs...

And you are right , soft firm skin too for the win.

Big sticky out faux jelly butt's though?? Im naturally blessed with a big butt lol

Because most people that have them tend to be slimmer women, possibly athletic with toned thighs.

Regardless, having noticeable differences in your body shape that you like is a good thing.

I'd never thought too much about it tbh, certainly no aspiration...im more the lifes too short, pass me the cake.

I think people find them so desirable because they associate a thigh gap with a slim woman who is in good shape with great legs. It's another unattainable beauty standard and some women will never have them no matter how small they are. It's all down to how you're built I'm sure?

I do quite like a thigh gap to be honest, especially the view from behind. My thighs will never not touch though, they're way too chunky.
