North East Scotland, mostly

We've been having glorious sunny weather the past few days. Coupled with the lighter mornings and afternoons it's given me a huge boost to my mood this week I always enjoy the emergence of Spring but this year it seems more pronounced than ever. Anyone else feel like this?

Yes! My sap is rising, the snowdrops seem even more poignantly hopeful this year. Normally I much prefer Autumn but I like Spring this year - there's so much to look forward to.

Yes, me too.

Had a nice drive today. It felt good to be out in the sunshine.

Long may it continue.

The sun and warmer weather really does make things feel better. The grass is greener, the lambs are playing in the fields, the snowdrops are here, it's a real natural boost.

Feel so much better after this lovely weekend. There is a very long road to normality, but this weekend has been a glimmer of hope

I’m happy as my garden lights are much brighter now the sun is energising the solar panels.

Also, my hair is already changing shades.

We defintely prefer spring, summer and autumn. More sun light (weather permitting), longer days, cooking outside on the grill and evenings in the garden at the firepit or in the hot tub...

Now if covid could just put some beers on ice on its way out before the summer, we can get back to having some company too.

Love that feeling as the day starts cool and gradually warms up. So much promise in the air.
