The porn effect

I feel as though the saturation of overly accessible porn has changed many sexual behaviours. For example going back 25 years you rarely saw a shaved vagina, sloppy head was not a thing, there was no big obsession with squirting, fisting, anal and/or pegging in mainstream adult movies, they were definitely a niche market. Is this now the new norm?

Sadly yes - I think the young uns going forward will be expecting all sorts and it will only get worse as porn producers try to go ever more extreme

I don’t watch porn but my my wife shaves her fanny.

Why do bad things happen to good people?

I guess it's so blase not many have an opinion on the matter or perhaps everyone is too busy watching Siswet insert a fire extinguisher up her posterior ;-p

I was listening to a Doctor being interviewed on the radio recently. She's seeing an increasing number of young men in their 20s and 30's with ed. She's done a fair bit of research and says that porn is one of the biggest factors. The stuff they're watching is so extreme compared to reality that a real sexual situation fails to stimulate them.

They have to make money somehow, while still remaining legal.

My prediction is that we will move from “3 hole” to “4 hole” penetration, and female urethral sounding/fucking will be the next thing.

I had a good friend with this same issue. He had a porn addiction and the only way he could cum during regular sex was to abstain from porn for several weeks first.

That is really fascinating. I didn't think of it from that point of view.

You can really tell if the person you're sleeping with watches a lot of extreme (maybe not considered extreme anymore) porn. They tend to be in their own head whilst trying to recreate their favourite scenes rather than there in the moment with you. It's not enjoyable.

i could totally believe this - i know there are many reasons for varying technique and time it takes a man to cum - but my personal experience has been if i’m ever with someone who “can’t always cum” but still spends and absolute age pounding away 100 miles an hour trying when lets face it nobody is enjoying it anymore - its always been a case of that guy spends far too much time wanking to porn and his body only knows how to respond to that physical and visual stimulation now

much prefer someone who can enjoy a variety of stimulation - a hard fuck when the time calls but no issues cumming from a slow sensual teasing session when that time calls either

This was one of the bases for the NoFap movement.

Excessive masterbation and porn addiction are leading to health and psychological issues with young men in terms of ED (grip of death etc.) and healthy relationships.

Porn addiction by itself can lead to an inability to orgasm through physical interaction as you need more and more extreme activities to achieve climax.

Another example of women losing out as a result.

Just an FYI and I am sure you know this but viagra and other medications can also result in delayed or no climax with men, so it is not always porn related. But at that point you can look for other signs (flushed face being the obvious one).

Judging from a lot of younger male profiles there is a lot of the "I can pound for hours" brags. That is definitely not for me. I'm not into the "wank sleeve" approach

yeah i know there can be other reasons and much like women sometimes their heads just not in the game and it could be stress or something - its just been my experience the way i described it is all

generally I’ve found if there is another underlying reason , thats not the kind of guy thats going to just keep banging away forever because they already know what the issue is, why it won’t happen and they learn to just enjoy the parts of sex that do work for them (a bit like the way women can enjoy sex without cumming every time)

the porn addicts dont seem to be aware of what their problem is and its all about the cum shot right

I've posted about similar before. Shaven, being something from the 80's porn industry and now the most people don't even understand how it came into being, even think it's a hygiene thing.

As for squirting, as someone who has been in the lifestyle for 20+ years it's only in the last 8 or so years it's come to the fore. Not even knew about it when I first started. Now it seems to be the ultimate goal. If you don't do it, there's something wrong with you.

As for sloppy blow jobs. The first time a girl spat on my cock and continued dribbling over it took me by surprise. Doesn't improve things in my opinion.

This is so apparent from the message content of some men here - and they're not all under 35.

Real women will always fail to stimulate them because of unrealistic expectations.

I'm not surprised they're suffering from ED - it's sad.

This is interesting reading and definitely an issue although I’d say that these are secondary issues with the prevalence of porn.

My main issue is the way that lack of consent is demonstrated, how women (in general) are the ‘recipient’ as opposed to willing and interacting partners and what effect that has on those that consume porn excessively.

Don’t get me wrong, I think that porn has a place, especially within a relationship but at the same point, when it colours a persons sexual taste, desire and mentality towards sex, that’s already too late

Yep, or they seem to be going through a "tick list" in their head rather than being there in the moment.

I feel that now there is an expectation for young females to play out these actions or risk being rejected.

With a lot of BDSM porn there does seem to be a quick interview with the female involved stressing how much she enjoyed it as she smiles into the camera. I think a lot of people fail to remember that people on camera are being paid to preform such actions and it is a fantasy.

A guy in a club asked me for a BJ but wanted me ‘choking’ whilst doing it, a deep throat bj. I declined nicely but I do see a lot of it in Tgirl porn now and it has actually put me off, same as spitting on a cock or a sloppy blow job.

That is very much the blurring point; by playing out the fantasy, people can indulge it but it fails to identify that fantasy and how it fits into reality

I don't have a problem with it its just all everyone is after. I wonder what the reactions are to most when they get vomited on. I bet its not as hot as they think it would be. Same with pegging. I get guys wanting it but they have not "prepared the area" ready for play beforehand.

Often asked if I top from straight guys on here. The only time I tried in a club, the guy was shaking with fear. So it didn’t happen.

i think it also pushes the fantasy into reality (and pushes it younger and younger) when its perfectly ok for fantasies to remain as just that

when i joined here i was mid to late twenties and was considered even too young then for some - now there are people on here at 18, not just single men but young couples

when i was that age i was still experimenting with what i enjoyed , getting to know my own body and my partners, new to vanilla sex never mind swinging, picking up tips to expand sexual activity from girls magazines haha

i think fantasies should be something you grow into together as a couple and push boundaries a little by little - people barely older than kids are now expected to go from 0-100 overnight , virgin to “filth” ... where is the head room to grow and develop without things having to get more and more extreme

OMG, you have totally taken me down memory lane with the "position of the fortnight" in 19 magazine.

Also with the addition of Onlee- phans and fin-domming so many young girls are attaching a price tag to their sexuality rather than taking time to enjoy the journey.
