Cant keep up with replying individually but a really interesting range of answers so far. I take the point about wanting to be with somebody who is completely different to self - I d go along with that. Equally I like the idea of meeting somebody who is on the same wavelength as me?

Looking again at some of the comments - interesting one from Petillante about wanting to understand how one is perceived by others. So, what might turn you off in want of a better word, about the person you are yourself or is it more a matter of "opposites attracting"?
