Who can complete one? And did you cheat?

Did you sound days/weeks on it?

Or did you easily do it?

I tried but I just don't have the patience.

One of lifes frustrations for me

Beaten by a rubik cube

I can't do it unaided but I have done it a few times using the guide on the Rubik web site. Luke

Seemed like everyone had one back in the day...I really impressed with those that had the patience for it. I just couldn't do it.

2 sides was the max... Unless I cheated, took it apart & put it back together completed

D & G

Had one in the early 80s and whilst I managed to work out how to get two levels done I struggled with the last. Read some formulas and after that managed to get one done pretty quickly.

Fastest time was 52 seconds. Well, not much else to do where I grew up lol.

Mr got to the final of a Rubiks cube competition and was in the Birmingham Evening Mail in the 1980s (average about 50 seconds), but can't remember how to do it now!

I used to be able to do one in under 90 seconds regardless of how mixed up it was. I had a book and it was just a question of memorising the moves to get the particular cubes into different places. Practice made perfect, but it's now one of the many bits of information my brain has chosen to discard

I can do a face and two rows unaided but then I always get the next steps mixed up and have to check how to do it

The Town by The Cross

Could NEVER solve it. I use a How to Solve the Rubik Cube guides.....

Then feel like a genius.

An old friend of mine took most of the stickers off and put them back on to make it look like he had solved it..

Got my daughter one for xmas.

After a hour she had given up and took it apart and put it back together in all correct colours.
