Not really sure where im going with this thread so bare with me..

I was originally going to ask what people class as a 'SSBBW' (Super Sized Big Beautiful Woman).. I have always identified as one. I saw there was an appriciation thread but from looking at womens bodies i saw women i would presume to be a UK dress size 18-24. For me those would be BBW (Big Beautiful Women)

I was going to ask 'What are the boundries?' Where does a BBW end and then becomes a SSBBW?

Then i was thinking its all down to the individual to class themselves whatever the fuck they wanna... so today i am going to identify as a thin person..

22 upwards ?

Curvy well thats hard to define. Could be 16 upwards but height comes in to it could be a 18 and 6ft tall but at 5ft and 18 they may term their self as ssbw.

To sum up I havent a clue. So sitting on the fence. Bloody painful up there.

Yep you're right Op.

The whole thing is a bit of a minefield isn't it? I'm a size 18 so definitely fat/chubby but I don't identify as a bbw because of various reasons. It's one of my turn offs in a message in all honesty.

So i am also a member of a site specifically for BIG girls and i feel 'safe' on there.. no one dislikes or ridicules my body type.

What ive noticed is the difference in womens body shapes when you factor in height. Fat distribution around the body is incredible

Some women have cracking shapely legs but all belly. Some have hugeee legs but a slender top half with small boobs..

Its incredible really.

I posted similar comments in that thread. Totally unsure of its definition.

To one person I'm just cuddly, to another SSBBW.

I guess if you are happy with having a label attached to your figure then go for it.

I just say I'm overweight but it's a work in progress

Hey Meli and absolutely you have the choice NOT to identify as these things

I like the idea of stereotypes in principal as it really is a quick way of identifying types..

If i was chatting to someone on the phone and said 'im a BBW' the chances are that person would immediately know im very fat.

Labels are only useful to help in marketing yourself.

I never consider anyones size when looking for play mates, but I appreciate some people like to ensure that there is no ambiguity going in so will refer to themselves as BBW or SSBBW to avoid any issues.

Personally as there is no “set size” to differentiate between BBW and SSBBW I just consider them all to be BBW.

I would class myself in the SSBBW size range (approx size 26 and up). The reason I didn't choose SSBBW in our profile name and just use BBW is because there's not many people who know what SSBBW stands for. I just couldn't be bothered dealing with the "What's an SSBBW?" message, 20 times a day.

oh so Google has a definition then. Of course its not set in stone, but interesting to know.

I dont really like identifying someone by there size. Everyone's sexy and hot in there own way, we just all have different preferences. Keep up the sexiness girls what ever size or shape you are....Mwah

I'd say a BBW is a size 18+ a SSBBW is a size 24+ but then it all depends on height.

A size 18 6ft woman would look much slimmer than a 5ft one.

Yeah completely height is relevant. I belong to another site specifically for BIGGG lasses.. and even i found it an eye opener at the fat distribution around the body when heights are different.

A mate of mine is exactly the same height and weight as me but we look completely different- she's pear shape and I'm apple shape.

We are different sizes in clothes too - I tried to wear a jacket of hers last year and couldn't get in it
