Ever since I can remember I have been a late night worrier, tonight I am weighing up whether I am a narcissist.

Any other late night overthinkers?

What is your most bizarre worry or concern?

I don't worry about stuff Ivy....

If it hasn't happened then I shouldn't worry about it and ........ well if it's happened it's too late.

Right now my biggest prob is that I fell asleep downstairs... had a great sleep and so now i'm wide awake

Do you ever try living in the 'now' and not the future? Cos right now you are on FAB ..... what's to worry about

Just keep posting and being yourself, and don't worry about what strangers on an internet site think about you. Not sure we are accepted, but we don't care. We are who we are, some love us, some hate us. Can't please everyone and it's certainly not worth worrying over.

Oooh a busy mind.

Last night I got paranoid about a video of me someone has, so messaged him at stupid o'clock

I have concerns I may never be slim, that I will fall through chairs, do my kids friends ever mention he has a wide arsed mother....etc

It is tiring

When you go to bed Lily take a note pad with you. Write your worries down to get them out of your thoughts .... when you wake up the next morning throw last nights worry in the bin!

Narcissists never wonder that, so you're not one. Invariably, you have sustained narcissistic abuse which gaslit the fuck out of you until you hardly know which way is up so you're doubting yourself. Reactive abuse is a thing, doesn't make you the narc.

Odds are yes, you do. Vulnerable people attract narcissists. Not essentially moths to a flame, but narcs appropriate a scattergun approach and frankly, erm, broken people 'allow' it through poor boundaries, and so they latch on and grow like a cancer. Self worth detracts them. Love yourself and the rest does follow x

Ps, and personally I know I just overthink, there's never been an alternative. I have no off switch, there is no turn down dial. Everything is always on. It's great, if you hate sleep lol

I never worry about anything I can't change (except for the never ending fear of rejection lol. ) But Ry has always been a natural worrier , late night not so much as the alcohol usually helps, but daytime she worries about everything, even once had to phone a friend whilst we were in Florida to go round ours and check she hadn't left the bath running. Couldn't enjoy the holiday till she heard back that the house was fine. Weirdest thing was that since we had a super early flight no one had used the bath taps since the night before yet we had all been in the bathroom so there was no way whatsoever that she had left the bath running but once the worry gets in her head she can't stop.

Oh how we laughed on that holiday.

Even if I had every answer (and I know I'll have most) it'll make no difference, your soul is not at rest and only you can do that. The most simple of advice is, the moment you're googling to understand, it's a red flag. Your feelings shouldn't be overridden. Whatever your past has taught you, it's wrong. Your gut is your guide, you just know. You just can't. I give you permission you can't give yourself.

The moment you do the right thing by your soul, it's at rest. That I can assuage to.

When I go to bed at night just before I go to sleep I am always aware that regardless of who is next to me I am alone with my conscience… As long as my conscience is clear I sleep like a baby, if it isn’t I make a plan to right whatever wrong that my conscience is telling me! Works every time

Mostly yes! I listen to an audio book, rarely get past 10 mins before I’m out for the count

I don’t think I’m an over thinker, just can’t shut my thoughts down so rarely y sleep more than 4-5 hours. Atm it’s half that so I have sleeping tablets that make me hallucinate and create a new reality. Fascinating really as I don’t remember any of it
