What are your experiences or recommendations?

Are they better than glue ons?

Or shall I pay for lash extensions.

Wanting dramatic lashes in August.

Thanks

I've used them during lockdown, they're much easier than glue ons!

I'll be going back to extensions in April.

So extensions for the win?

I couldn’t get on with them at all.

If it’s for a special occasion I’d go for the lash extensions every time.

I used to get them done before holidays.

(Remember them?)

I have lolas lashes and they do look nice. I think extensions look much nicer, I just don’t get on with them and would only use lashes for a day or 2 so the magnetics are better for me, but will not get used much! If you like extensions stick with them

Love them , easy to apply .

I have a Silly George set and a cheap Amazon one , both equally good .

Not as resilient as extension , I have had "sedate" sexy fun wearing them and they stayed on , don't think they would withstand a vigoirous session though

I brought a set of Lolas Lashes during lockdown and found them really easy and I'm not used to false lashes at all. I prefer a more subtle look and like that they had different ones depending what you are looking for.

I sometimes get a lash lift but never extensions so can't comment on how that compare.

So I have had extensions twice, loved them except for 2 things:

Price.. they are alot for just a few nights

Refills.... I wont bother and end up with patchy lashes

Glue ons I find fiddly and not great when you wear alot of makeup and contact lenses

So I have never tried magnetic ones and just curious if they were any good for 2 nights out

Its just eyeliner.. add that with your normal make up.. lashes are easily attached and then removed before bed. Wipe off the eyeliner with the rest of the make up.

Ive used the same single pair for about 10 times so far and no problems.

I've been wondering about these... might have a look and see if I like them and get the hang of it before we're allowed out again.

I love waking up, looking in the mirror and feeling already "made up" because of extensions. They will be my first appointment, long before I seek a haircut.

But for a one-off occasion, magnetic lashes are a no brainer!

Economic, easy to remove, reusable.

Extensions all the way. Russians if you can find a decent tech.

Bloody roll on April

They're good so long as you don't mind having to wear a thick layer of eye liner for them to stick to!

I got Lolas and they are ok for a few nights. Do agree you need a lot of liner or they will fall off after a while.

Look for the discounts with them if you go with Lolas

I bought some off Groupon and live them! So easy to use.

I've never used false lashes until last year and just love how they change a makeup look!

I'm on the look out for different courted ones now.

Ive got magnetic ones. Love them. Easy to put on, look nice on. I’ll not be returning to glue on’s ever!

Only issue i have is the eyeliner is difficult to remove.

That’s where I struggled! I don’t wear it at all so the ensuing results were interesting to say the least.

I’ve often lost false lashes as well at inopportune moments!

Magnetic ones are great for one night, used to get extensions regularly but used to fiddle with them and would look patchy my technician always moaned at me

I’m thinking of getting some, i tried with the glue but don’t get on with them so I’ve just resorted in lots of mascara (can’t complain with my natural lashes as they are pretty long once a good coat of mascara is on)

Seems easy enough to put them on (or so it looks from the vids on YouTube)

Any particular brands u girls recommend? X

Do u need to put on the magnetic eyeliner? Or do they work without?

I’ve made the plunge and purchased the Lola’s diamond set last night

Unless your eyelids are naturally magnetic, you need to use the eyeliner

This is an interesting thread, I'm going to have a look into these. is there any particular brand on Amazon, and would they stay on during an intimate moment (or would somebody get a new moustache)!
