To me, yes. It means someone's interested in a chat. I don't like to message 1st. Rather know somebody wants to talk. Saves time lol

Interesting, why do they not want message first? Surely if they want to chat then?

Just curious as why if want to chat why you wouldn't message

I often send them just to show some sort of interest.

However the last wink i received was almost 2 months ago, but if i do get one it is a massive conference boost.

I think the wink is a very useful tool for attracting useful tools

Good question. The reason I don't message 1st is after years on and off fab. I'm aware many women and couples get hundreds of messages from horny blokes. Even the most innocent and non threatening messages get generally ignored. If you're naughty and up front in your message, It's considered desperate and sordid.

If you send a genuinely platonic message. In most cases it's seen as. just a ploy to get sex and is disingenuous. (Totally understand why and fair enough) it's a Lose lose situation unless you're looking for a relationship.

So. I'd rather not add my message to the list of "Way too many messages to get through so mass deleted, sorry"

Does that make sense?

Sth Tipp

I use them to indicate that I like someone,as we all know, most women here are pestered daily with silly messages that they're not interested in so I don't like to add to that.

If I get one back,it's all good

I think it's a useful wee tool , I'd use it to say I've read your bio and looked at your pictures there's a wink cause I'm interested. Wink back if your interested and I'll send you a quick message.

I always take a bit of thought and effort into my 1st messages but 90% of them get binned . So a wee wink of interest would save all that.

But I still send message just now , saying it would be handy

We’ve no problem with sending and receiving winks.

They can be nice little icebreakers.

People can wink if they want but what they ought to do is pay attention to those who don't want to receive them. It's not rocket science. Why send people things they don't want unless you haven't bothered to find out... Ahhh that might be it...
