"My team played to a 0-0 draw tonight, through some luck and good defending. We also had 2 simple 1 on 1s that fell to our worst striker and arguably one of our worst players who fluffed them. I’d be gutted to get less points for playing well defensively and getting a 0-0 draw away from home. Keep football as is, VAR has made it a big enough joke at times" Yes, there are two sides to the game. You can enjoy an exciting 0-0 where both teams excel in both disciplines. I'm good with that. Just feel too many teams deliberately only play to defend and offer no ambition going forwards. No easy solution. ![]()

"Tbf I get your point , but it kinda means defenders will be even less relevant than they already are perhaps ![]() If anything, they're skills would be more prevalent and earning their crust. ![]()

More financial fair play would make an even playing field as quickly of players would go to different sides but that’ll never happen sadly

Spread the talent by fixing a set price on players wages and fees. Eg if your a striker in the prem your wages are x amount of pounds regardless of which side you sign for. This way the top talent would be spread across the league. Winning it would come down to team moral, the manager and fans cheering them on. (When allowed again) ![]()

"Would be interested to hear your thoughts on this. For me its getting ridiculous that two professional football teams can bore their fans and manage to score no goals between them. Of course, the disgusting amounts of money up for grabs plays its part. Teams are terrified to play entertaining football, instead prioritising not to lose. Its getting worse too. Would you watch cricket without runs, tennis without aces, basketball with no hoops? Yet football can yield no goals so often. I'd like to see a sensible change in the awarding of points. Its an entertainment business, not life or death. I propose: 1 point for a goaless draw. 2 points for a goals draw 4 points for a win Make the FA cup valuable again. If you win it, you get 4th spot entry to the Champions league. It will also serve to make 3rd spot more contested and the points system I'm suggesting, would promote winning games and scoring goals, making the game exciting again to the neutral sports fan. As I said be interested to hear your thoughts. ![]() I feel football has not been as good without the crowds but that cannot be helped. One of the problems nowadays is the rules have been sanitised so much a lot has been taken from the game sadly. Often a goalless draw can be a very good tactical game but not allways.

Was watching one of sky's replays of a classic match from circa 2000. The game flowed so much more. ![]()
