I’ve just noticed this was posted 8 weeks ago. I think she has had a chance to think it over.

I'm really puzzled. Would you be willing to share why you are after people in the Isle of Man and what needs a rethink? Luke

Best news is that Manx Government are planning to open their Borders 28th June so all Isle of Man Fabbers will be free to meet fabbers again from the Mainland. That'll be a novelty for them

The hotel said the planned date for June 27th wasn't possible, their restrictions were not lifted until the day after and offered us a date in August instead.

That’s understandable but frustrating that it’s only a difference of a day or two.

Even more so when we know how things can do quickly chance in a matter of weeks.

We would move to the rock at the drop of a hat. Life is so slow and laid back. The majority of people who live there are so friendly

Yes it is, we have friends live there and visited out of TT also. Although TT is amazing and the rock is buzzing it has so much more to offer. Not for everyone we suppose

Looks like our covid passport is going to come in handy. Manx Government have just said yesterday they are delaying the opening of borders from end of June till October. They say residents and non residents who are fully vaccinated will have no travel restriction imposed after 28 June. No testing or isolation requirements. Needs to be passed in Tynwald but looks likely, think its going to a vote today and announced tomorrow in a covid press briefing. So covid passports are going to be a thing for some things, and rightly so.

Yeah I live here, for all the negative things like the pretty poor hospital, the expense of getting off the island and pretty poor weather, I really couldn't think of a better place to live. Its peaceful, the scenery is fantastic and the people aren't half bad
