Try them on, what smells good on one wont necessarily on another.

One I cant remember someone recommended to me, smelt great on the tester card. On me smelt awful

This or Hugo Boss black. I'm not sure if that's what it's called but it's a simple black bottle with a silver metal screw top.

Try some of the Molton Brown ones

They do a pretty good range and they aren't as heavily worn by guys as some of the mainstream brands

Geranium Nefurtum suits me, but not necessarily you

Never buy based on sniffing the bottle or on sniffing someone else

Spray, go do some shopping, see how it smells half hour to an hour later

A lot of them settle differently, so after an hour of it mixing with your body smell, you'll know how it smells on you

If it smells good, go back and buy it
