That would give the game away. My female friend met a guy in Fab. He had a big mark on his finger where he had taken his ring off. Swore blind to her he was single. Later admitted he wasn’t. Lol.

I didn’t wear my wedding ring for many years. After baby number 2 it didn’t fit for quite a while then with my work and hobbies it was easier to not wear it.

We wear our engagement rings.

We’d probably take it off for a party/long session, but that’s purely because her’s costs too much for a pointless shiny thing and I wouldn’t want it lost/damaged and I have a habit of losing it. Inside someone once.

"why do they not wear wedding rings?"

I wore one for a bit after I got married and I absolutely detested having this solid bit of metal round my finger. It was so uncomfortable and felt so unnatural. I didn't last more than a few weeks before I just put in a draw. I haven't seen it for years. Luke

I wear mine when doing nice stuff but it’s dangerous for work so I only really put it on when I’m going out somewhere nice.

It’s like a fashion accessory for me.

I have absolutely no issue wearing it, I’ve worn it for the annual lads holiday I go on and the chicks just seem to be even more determined by the sight of it.

One chick even insisted I finger banged her with my wedding finger whilst whispering my vows into her ear.

Can confirm that. While on lad's nights out when I was still wed. I would repetitively tap my wedding ring on my pint glass when a woman was flirting with me a little too much for my comfort, nothing wrong with some flirting, but some seem to see it as a challenge. Shrugs. No biggie.

I used to wear mine apart from when doing anything that might damage or lose it (DIY, sport, swimming, diving, etc)

I stopped wearing it when we separated about 5 years ago.

Ultimately a ring means nothing unless there is something behind, such love, but that shouldn't need any symbol. Ring is just a peice of metal

I'm not terribly romantic or sentimental about most things but being told he wouldnt wear a ring made me a bit miffed. Good job we never got married! They can be awfully dangerous though, mine have snagged a few times and I know people who have had gruesome accidents with fingers.

This was why I was reluctant to wear my wedding ring. I now wear it pretty much all the time and don't notice it any more.

To me it's just something that catches my eye occasionally that reminds me I've got my hubster in my corner,my rock, my cheerleader and the one that loves me because of our differences. (a poly/mono relationship is hard work - but for us worth it)

Awwwww. I do think there's an assumption on here that married on a single profile = cheating and they aren't synonymous.

Equally I think people struggle to believe you when you say you aren't cheating anyway.

Ring removal I think for some people is about trying to be someone else or hide it. But not every happily married person wears a ring so you can't draw conclusions

Rings are incredibly dangerous at work - and remember you don't only do work at work you DIYers! I never really took the H&S posters very seriously till a mate had is ring finger almost completely ripped off while I was on shift - pretty horrible to see and although they saved it they never got the finger working properly again.

Less than a tenner and dont cause any issues with weights, sports or tools and if you're not a fan of jewelry or wearing metal the colours available are very subtle aswell, leas subtle colours available too
