used to have an 'escape phrase' but after using it felt a bit disingenuous..

so now we will say 'thanks for a nice evening' etc but we dont think we are compatible if thats the case..

I reckon meet in a pub you know you can climb out of the toilet window might be the best answer.

A friend of mine used the phrase "I'm really sorry I have to go now I didn't expect to be out this late and my dog has separation anxiety issues and will chew her tail off if left alone". In his defence she apparently she had hygiene issues lol

Excuse yourself for the bathroom, once there setup a fake call to ring after 10 minutes with the fake call app, it's actually very effective as it rings your phone and a voice tells you what to say. Medical emergency etc and it sounds 100% real

true story

I had a meet set up with a couple when i was still single.

checked every thing with them on the phone and then turned up at their house, once in side was offered a seat o looking round i could not see a free seat as the sofa and the arm chairs were full of clothes, they then pushed a pile on the floor. the wife then produced the coffee i had said i would have, in a mug that had a crack like the grand cannon.

it was then i noticed the floor was about an inch deep in dog hairs and an overflowing ashtray by the sofa.

I went through the motions of looking for my ciggies in my jacket

and announced that i had left them in the car and would be one min while i went for them I was off like a shot got home and put them on my block list

vegetable soup in a kids water bomb,use the loo then declare yourself sick,burst balloon in toilet ,leave then when they use loo and see the evidence you get a text later asking if ya ok lol

I have learnt to stick with "we won't be playing, your very nice but I'm just not feeling the lust".

Using an excuse.to leave just delays the inevitable and leads to messages asking how your friend/granny/dog is and shall we reschedule...

Though a friend did once ring me very conveniently and was stunned at how eager I wad to give her a lift... To the hospital! Lol.
