There are approximately 1.2 million NHS staff working in the UK and an approximate adult population of working age of around 50 million - so roughly one in 50 people work for the NHS

Not really a surprise that proportionally they are high here then - especially since COVID when the NHS have been praised so highly and *some* people here have used working for them to gain capital from it here in the same way people use military or police/fire brigade uniforms.

Hopefully,if nothing else is learned from covid,is that the nhs is not fit for purpose.

Appallingly manned with criminal financial misappropriation.people need to stop feeling over protective and nostalgic.every other country copes just fine,if not better,without one.
