"Replace your running trainers? Advice sought from those regular runners on how frequently you change your running gear. I have struggled since December with calf issues. First it was right one and one now my left calf has gone. Now full on pull.. but constantly sore so a strain I guess. I'm thinking it could be the trainers causing it bit they are only 6 months old. " If calf's are an issue are you stretching enough before and after? Have you altered running style at all,ie gone from heal to toe strike. Are you doing any core work and work on your glutes and hamstrings? This can cause calf issues if they are weak or tight. Or maybe have you introduced extra miles or hills into your program? | |||
