Guys

With so many of you on Fab. In normal times (pre Covid) how do you cope with the competitiveness of so many guys all wanting to attract our attention?

How do you attract our attention?

I’m interested to know?

Thank you

I would try and go to socials to show my face and speak to people.

Nothing worse than idiots taking up women’s inbox then our genuine messages get missed.

I don't really feel in competition with anyone anymore, I did to begin with but at the end of the day someone will either like you or they won't.

As far as getting attention I think it's a mixture of making some effort and also some luck needed that your message doesn't get lost amongst others or trashed when they bulk delete

I do ok on here to be fair. I'm just myself and if they don't like me that's fair enough. I'm not here to compete with others.

I wasn't here pre-covid but I can only focus on my own profile and how I come across and hope it's good enough.

However, contributing to the forums have really helped start conversations with people who I didn't think would give me a second look. As a result, there's no real need for me to look at it as a competition

I don't see it as a competition, there is someone for everyone so what's the point in all the salesman bit then having to keep up all the BS when someone will eventually take a liking to you for being you. I see it that the women and couples are the ones doing the choosing and that it's better to let them find you, of course sending a wink or a quick message helps them find you but but I reckon it's easy to spot desperation and attention seekers on the forum and in messages, if you have to start a thread entitled something like "rate my cock" or something similar I reckon that's desperate.

I never see it as competition. Or seek attention. Or message for either purpose. And just treat fab as it is, not a reflection of reality really. I think being yourself and honest are still the main two attractive qualities.

I don't regard it as a competition

I just do me

Some people get it, some don't

Trying too hard often has a negative return and leads to much frustration

'Just being' is much less hassle and way more fun

There and to the left a bit

Anyone that sees it as a competition is seeing it wrong to be honest and is likely setting themselves up for disappointment and failure regardless of their gender.

It's not being "better" than anyone else that leads to the site meeting personal expectations, but being yourself and finding an approach that works for you as an individual - it really is that simple.

I’m not finding it a problem if I’m honest? I have more people in my Hotlist ready to meet once the restrictions are lifted (and in particular, the hotels reopen), than before the lockdown was announced, and I wasn’t looking for new people!

I have a weekend in Leeds planned for later this year, and hopefully at least one of the clubs will be open while I’m there......

. I never think about the competition as I know the guys out number the ladies by at least 20 to 1 so why worry about something I can’t control.Instead I try to find something in a ladies profile that they may like about me and I send a polite message including what it is that they may like about me.

I've never thought of it as a competition. Never look at other guys profiles. I'm just me. If someone likes the look of my profile or message then great. I know many more won't than will, but never think of it as me and 'them'. Just that I am of no interest. Been around long enough to know how it works.
