We think of steampunk as recreating a world that never existed. It's a style genre, based largely on Victorian sci-fi (HG Wells, Jules Verne, HP Lovecraft, Lewis Carroll etc)

A more recent version is a film called Mortal Engines - it's a post apocalyptic steampunk film.

glasgow

just about a bit of everything really but main/current ones (cos my adhd gets bored...assh**e that it is at times) are:

Guitar - mostly classical, with anything else its the lead parts

Mechanics & vehicle strip down & rebuilds (all 3 atm cos my daily failed mot...not on much though)

writing

Painting

and randomly decided to turn a deep red satin curtain into a dress with hand sewing corset back holes and a long leg slit just cos I felt like it...no more than basic sewing skills no machine...its unfinished partly cos I need to unpick some of it and do it again & i just lost motivation.

both the beauty & hell of adhd there

I was wanting it for my b'day but lockdown continued...i'll finish it later nearer to when I can blooming wear it
