Me,and loving it. Don't get me wrong the first couple of episodes are difficult to get through but persevere, it's well worth it.

Handy is you're very familiar with the MCU.

Handier if you know a wee bit of the comics, I do not.

I figure this will give some context to the next Marvel film.

There's talk about the connections between this a the next Dr Strange movie, and possibly the next Spidey movie too.

Depends on which theories you read.

You should definitely watch it Op! If you're interested in Marvel there are lots of Easter eggs scattered about as well general pop culture references. The first episode does feel a bit clunky but it finds its feet quite quickly.

I'm watching this. I agree the first couple of episodes are confusing. But it gets much better.

Enjoy x

Watched 7 this morning, the big bad is revealed (or is it?). Still no real clue what’s going on though lol

Personal theory, dr strange appears at the end to fix things and that forms the basis for the film.

Curious to know what the post credits scene will be if there is one - dr strange 2 or winter solder and the falcon which is out soon

"Yes, it's suppose to introduce the mutant aspect of the universe.

Depends, it may still do so. But it is looking like it is distancing itself from that even more than first expected.

It is a shame if it won't do the reverse of the "No more mutants" moment from House of M storyline in the comics in some form.

It is however setting up so much for phase 4 and beyond.

Dr Strange 2, potentially Spiderman 3, the Young Avengers. Throwing in little hints towards Fantastic 4. Even the basis for the Loki show.

I see what you’re saying but for a myriad of reasons, i simply can’t see it going that way. She cannot create what hasn’t been conceived yet, plus it would be a very low key way of bringing in mutants. The Eternals film will be the starting point for them, WandaVision is about splitting open the multiverse

Burnleyish (She/They)

It's a masterclass in creepy thriller without the need for gore. It's been fantastic so far.

We already know that Wanda is in Dr Strange 2, and the crossover with marvel TV/film universe is strong... (I'm mostly ignoring the Netflix stuff here, thinking shield and agent carter)... And it's officially classed as part of phase 4 so not a huge leap that they are going to be tied...

I thought that, especially with episode 7... but I'm thinking dormammu is more likely with the purple colour scheme.

Nah, they won't redo the same villain from the first movie.

Can't really discuss much without wandering in to spoiler territory.

I ha we watched so much tv. This is one of the good ones.

I actually preferred the first couple of episodes to what it is now, but it’s still well worth a watch. If you like something that has you guessing for a while, and superheroes. Do it.

"Oh I watched the first one and wasn't impressed... do I need to stick with it?... "

I’d say so. The first couple of episodes are slow but they help to build the greater storyline.

If you really can’t stand it, then try skipping to episode 3. Episode 4 is where things start to make far more sense and everything is placed in context

I would suggest waiting for the finale to come out

The episodes are quite short 20mins ish for most of them. Would be better to binge them all at once.

I really dislike such short episode running times then a weeks wait. The momentum really falls for me.

Also regarding episodes and sticking with it. Episode 4 is where you begin to think OHHH.

I actually enjoyed the sitcome black and white episodes though.

Wanda Vision will surely tie in with the new Doctor strange Multiverse of Madness. Im liking the different uses of her powers, can be a bit cheesey at times as you would expect with a marvel film but even still its very good and not to mention Elizabeth Olsen is hot. Here still waiting for the Black Widow movie.

Agreed. They get going then stop.

Probably best binged, and I’d agree with considering starting at episode 3/4, although I suspect the first few benefit from rewatching in context.

Oh no I didn’t mean start at 3/4. I would never do that. I have to watch things properly beginning to end .

I just meant that is where it begins to get going and people need to stick it out until then.

Yep, starts off a bit weird but then by the 3rd episode thinks start to make sense, also the first few clocked in at around 25mins but this latest one (No. 8) is about 45 minutes long.

Big fan so far
