Hi, Lads & Ladies...

I experienced a major troll here today. How do ye deal with such uncalled for unprovoked fked up behaviour. I normally ignore. But unfortunately I took the bait. Yes I know block and ignore but this guy needs to be called out. I have screenshots of his major disturbed abusive msgs.

Iv had the same and got a warning for name and shaming him xx it’s vile you should be allowed to out someone if they are in the wrong xx

The simple fact about trolls is that they need to be fed.

If you don't give them the satisfaction of a reply it pisses them off more than any reply can do.

It is a shame there is no mechanism for reporting or warning others about abusive or unsafe people, however I also appreciate the can of worms that can open regarding policing it and making sure claims are genuine and not false.

Sadly all you can do is block and report, and try and either avoid trolls or if you are going to feed them try not to let it get to you and instead just try and over feed them with boredom.

It was totally crazy Shit. But thankfully a few Females mailed me after I put up a status about him. They were just saying he did the same to me

I'm normally not this sensitive about a troll.

But anyway anyone who requests further screen shots of said troll. I have them.

Unfortunately on the internet you can write any old bollocks at all and face little or no official punishment so your only defense on here is to report block ignore move on or as we do just play with their fucked up souls by replying with messages of love and light until they get bored and block you!!!

Sorry that you suffered shit as imho no one deserves that.

Exactly. I just couldn't believe the amount of Females who msged me today saying he did the same to me. I did name and shame him in a status

We can only block, as well as report to Admin if inappropriate content, before looking after ourselves.

Naming and shaming will never be allowed and would likely escalate the problem, as much as the hurt caused may trigger a need for allaying their distress.

Sadly, the onus is on the hurt recipient, to remedy their own situation. It may mean that we have to take some time out from the forum or site or, otherwise seek support to help us to cope. It's obviously more difficult during the epidemic, as our emotional reserves are low and we're lacking in social contact.

Unfortunately opening up the scene to be internet facing has brought it to a much wider audience and abuse.

You only have to see these sites are now referred to as sex sites rather than lifestyle sites, which immediately implies there is something on offer, plus commercialisation, a complete miss understanding of what the scene is.

We have a couples profile but very rarely used now cos my partner will not come back on the site because of a plethora of bad treatment in messages/chat by males, females and couples that has got worse over the years, especially recently.

I use my old profile cos I don't want to be a male hiding behind a couples profile we still sort of active on the scene, which has its own ramifications, guess over years I've just become very thick skinned. But I will be gone from the site soon as most of our friends. I only believe it is going to get worse.

As in other posts, all you can do is use the the tools that you have and try and protect yourself, best tool is yourself, it is very difficult! As above take time out, regroup and come back stronger, believe there are still a lot of decent nice people on the site, but obscured by the darkness that seems to have fallen.

Yes for Def. Once they get a reaction they don't care and some definitely get enjoyment from upsetting women with their extreme abuse. They're like predators picking on vulnerable women and some target newbies.
