It was my birthday the other week and I was thinking as I moved out of some people's age range and into others if anyone adjusts their age range of people they are looking for.

If you do how often do you adjust?

If not why not especially your upper limit?

Discuss please.

I don't mean my age but the age limit of people I am looking for. Such as 25 to 55 for example.

Brighton - even Hove!

I’ve been on Fab 8 years now and looked with dismay as my age number went up inexorably year by year. I remember when I hit 45 the number of peoples profiles for whom I was within their age range fell dramatically. Now I’ve hit 50, I’m just not worrying any more. Take it or leave it.

No, I'm really not bothered by age. Makes absolutely no sense to me that someone would sleep with a 35 year old, but not a 36 year old.

You get some people who look older than their age, you get some people who look younger than their age.

You get some people who act younger than their age and you get some people who act older than their age.

Age has no bearing for me once you're consenting adults. If you're hot you're hot.

My age range just excludes the very young . I don't set out to exclude anyone from chatting . I can see why women have a narrow range in order to have manageable in boxes. I expect if they find enough interest from the target age range then they have no need to move it with changes in their own age .

The age range is set in stone.

So once you got from 50 to 51 the age selector does not adjust. just accept at 51 you are dead meat..........

I'm always changing mine around. When I have men able to message I keep a 2 year age range open so that there aren't many messages able to come through (but just enough to stroke my... ego) and change it every week or two.

Someone suggested to me away from FAB, when I reached 50, for each next year, I count backwards instead. Thus I'm not 65, but -35 years old!

But whilst the mind thinks it, the body gave up at -49!!

Seriously, I tweak the ages as I grow older. It helps!

I set the age limit up to 50 as that is my preference although not absolute.

I didn't block messages from those outside the range thus keeping my options open.
