Has coshite finally worn People down .are people so fed up with covid ,seems that way .i get no response,s to mails on here anymore, not even a browse of my profile ,not even the odd message.yes they could be incognito, Are people that fed up with it all.

Doing other things = Fewer replies to messages and profile reading.

Seems logical.

What was your success rate 12 months ago ? Through the roof ?

I'd think most people yes. I'm concerned that for a lot of people this will be the new normal and they won't get back to themselves once covid has gone. There will be some people who have lost contact with friends and their social lifeline. A lot of people will be feeling deflated OP and just not want to chat and most not meeting so I wouldn't take it personally. Just keep being your happy cheery self

People are grieving.

Family, friends, livelihoods, freedoms to name but a few.

Yes. People are worn down.

And whilst coming here looking to discuss things on the forums they're being alerted almost non stop at people not following rules, people losing loved ones being told that covid isn't real.

Kinda crushes your faith in humankind and leaves little room mentally to even want to connect with people on a 1-1 basis.

Then half the time if you think "stop being so shut down and reply" the convo soon gets from someone seemingly giving a shit to someone using pretending to give a shit to try to get in your knickers during the fucking pandemic.

I think people understand that covid is something we have to deal with and do our bit to keep ourselves and others safe, but ultimately it's more people that the majority are fed up with because people are the whole pissing reason we're in a worse position than a year ago.

To abide by the rule ,sites like fab are really extinct. If i really think about it ,how can you not abide by the rule ehen you don't meet anyone outside your bubble .least thats the way it is for me. Really forums the only option fab can offer at the moment.

People aren't following the rules though, that's the whole problem.

Many are, but an awful lot aren't.

I wouldn't say it's extinct. There are still the forums as you say. On top of that people are still free to make connections should they want to (there are plenty of profiles to browse through), and can stay in touch with people they already know. People can talk about clubs, and make provisionaal plans for what they hope to get up to.

Yes, people aren't allowed to meet. The site still has things to offer for those that want them. Announcing it's extinction is overstating it.

Corona is the species of virus. SARS-COV-2 is the virus. Covid-19 is the disease (it was detected in 2019).

The vaccines have lots of names no one bothers with.

People will have a waiting list of people who they want to meet, so you'll be back of the queue. They are probably not on here looking for new future meets, so with them taking a quick decision, it saves you wasting further time.

Jobs, home, health, family etc will all come as higher priorities than some random unsolicited contact

You’re a single man on a site that’s awash with single men, most of whom struggle on here. You’re in an age group that often struggles a bit more than other single men, especially when looking to meet much younger. We don’t know what your opening messages are like, so we can’t tell you if your approach is letting you down, and you seem to be happy that your profile doesn’t need improvement. As someone else has asked, what was your success rate like before what you dismissively call “coshite”? If it was about the same, maybe the pandemic isn’t the only reason you’re having problems.
