Yes, generally every month around 200-300 get auto deleted if they've not been opened, so mailbox roughly halves every month

Don't know why people don't use filters. I would add that a word count filter would also be helpful. Say, 50 or 100 words minimum in the initial message if people wanted.

I do think some folk just like collecting messages as an ego boost. 3000 messages in your inbox aye?
