It does need a lift doesn't it? It's a reflection of the general mood though, I'm hoping next week there will be more energy in it.

I like inclusive threads - sometimes I'm in the mood for a slightly more daft one, other times I like the ones that encourage navel gazing or spark an interesting debate. I like the poetry ones that pop up now and again or the truly absurd, weird ones that have me laughing a lot.

I'm not a big fan of the snog whatever threads. I did enjoy the PM threads and the Secret Service ones but they've both been diluted by frequency. The Secret Service one is also more now about perving which is a shame because I like it when it's daft or people are sending sweet messages to their friends.

Only thing I hate is necroing off old threads that are dead

Ie you see a topic with like 40-50-60 posts and think ooo yes that’s a good topic and lot off comments

You come in expecting a nice chat to find ever post is a year old and one new post about 10 minutes ago and the threads totally dead

Totally agree they've been diluted by their frequency now - not saying people shouldn't post them as they're fully entitled to do so, but think it was quite telling to see the difference when Nora posted one the other week from what appears to be the free for alls of the others posted.

As I said though this is not to do the others down, just my perspective and it seems that of others.

Merely curious as the lounge needs a lift - and no I don’t think I’m the one to do it as I dislike most things

Interesting as I have done a few and potentially the first my mate fancies you post.

I posted it as I thought it would involve people and get them chatting and I reckon it works. I’d say threads like that lift the people that join in.

Ie you see a topic with like 40-50-60 posts and think ooo yes that’s a good topic and lot off comments

You come in expecting a nice chat to find ever post is a year old and one new post about 10 minutes ago and the threads totally dead

Really not shour as they must have had to scroll back a tone off pages to just find that thread lol

Yes it is very intriguing to see how some people’s minds works I couldn’t sit and scroll older threads to leave a comment on a year old thread

I like being current if the topic was that important I would post a new thread and get everyone current views on it

I bumped one a little while ago. Over 3 years old too. Was for a very valid reason in my mind relating to this very thread here
