Men are more romantic

I admit to being a bit Last Minute Larry buying a Valentine's card this weekend. Rocking up at the local supermerket early Saturday evening there were very few left.

What i did notice though was how many more cards there were left 'for him' than 'for her'. Proof positive, methinks? Or prove me wrong.

Of course, it could just be that men have more than one card to buy.

Perhaps woman are more romantic through the entire year and feel no need to express on one day with a simple card. Buying a card doesn't make you romatic.

I was just gonna say before I read the last line...

Blokes are probably buying one for the wife, one for the mistress, and one for the girlfriend.

And add to that, women are probably ordering personalised ones off the Internet rather than shop bought ones that aren't unique

And one for the one he is currently flirting with at work

Men only buy valentine's day cards because it buys them their 3rd shag of the year.

Yep!

I'm chuckling but it's sad.

Everyone is unique as are relationships. I don't think tant this can be gender specific.

There’s no way of knowing how many of each kind they had to start with, though. Maybe they ordered a lot more “for him” than “for her” on the assumption that women would buy more cards than men, but because of lockdown women have opted for a different way of buying cards than off a supermarket shelf. Possibly ordered personalised ones online several weeks ago or something like that.

In my opinion men are definitely, definitely more romantic.
