Tell me about it. I cut out sugar in most things last year. It's been ok but cornflakes and coffee without sugar was a hard pill to swallow but used to it now. I have a chocolate bar as a treat every now and then but been munching on fruit like no tomorrow lol

Abs are built in the kitchen. I do a 6 week zero carb/dairy and sugar cut every april then eat what i want the rest of the year but maintain it through calisthenics

I like to get outdoors walking, don’t like it if I’m cooped inside, I don’t do the gym but like to go swimming when possible, I find that’s good for clearing the mind.

I’ve managed to grab a few essential bit to allow decent workouts.

It definitely helps with my mood , I was a bit stuck last lockdown but now I’m feeling so much better.

Plus I’m doing it all solo so it even helps with my sexual frustration.

I do yoga and walk miles (increasing this), love open water swimming but waiting until April to start that again!

I do do home workouts but no more than 10/15 mins 2/3 times a week (same with running) is necessary for me

Lockdown / isolation has completely changed our fitness regime! We both exercise at home most mornings... so we’re probably stronger and fitter than we’ve been for ages! Looking forward to going running again when the weather improves. We’ve toned not muscly... Looking forward to an outdoorsy summer. Stay well, stay fit!

Does athletic include Shot Putters?"

I'm a discus thrower and shot putter (no joke)

Unfortunately age and a penchant for good beer, great grub and cakes has taken any hope of being truly toned and athletic but I'd much prefer my vices and lack of 6 pack than being chiseled

"Does curvy and toned count?

X"

Maybe I've got these fab definitions wrong but I would have put you down as athletic not curvy...hips are hips, boobs are boobs especially for any women whom have had children.

me I'm the slim athletic like a ballerina except I ain't that tall. I've no idea how but I've basically managed to keep my teenage body but with more saggy & stretch marked bits.....actually that's not true cos I had my first child when I was a teen.

Fitness wise well I got endurance but my cardio is lower than granddads balls I'll get out of breath before I'll be anywhere near sweating.

Food wise everything in moderation, home cooked (not out a box), rarely eat takeaways, no convenience foods, rarely junk food. basically you want something to munch in my house you gotta be hungry enough to actually wanna spend the time making it, cuts out a hell of a lot of boredom eating.

I have nothing against curvy BTW but These ladies are not what I class as curvy...hips, boobs, bums & tums ain't ain't n that catagory.

Or is this the misconception that athletic means you have no shape as a woman & your straight up & down???

I'd say I'm not athletic as I don't go to the gym or workout regular. And my BMI is deemed as overwight at the moment (been enjoying the Lockdown baking a little too much lol).

I tend to associate athletic as sporty, muscular, toned or stocky (anyone who exercises and looks after themselves really) x

Oh ballocks! (to most of the women on here!!) i don't think I've can across 1 i would class a curvy.

& I think quite a few of us have let go a little during lockdown tbh, wouldn't worry too much, you can lose it if you choose...I'm quite likely to demolish 1/2 a double layered 24" filled with buttercream to myself....Oppps.....I'll only do it for a short while them I'll put myself off it for a good while. (lol)

I don't exercise regularly either (hate gyms), I am sporty if I want to be, which is usually sporadic...\i largely do nothing, I wouldn't say I'm visably musclular & defo not stock....

then again I don't think there is a slim option & I'm defo not the rest.

i dont think its a misconception ... just that its terms that can be interpreted different ways and overlap

for example kitty (hope you don’t mind me using as an example its all complimentary i promise! ) has a toned stomach and thighs which would suggest athletic but also amazing round full set of boobs ... those are what i would think are exactly a curvy definition

i think the terms define shapes not sizes and round bums and boobs for me would be curves no matter how petite a frame they were on

I invested in some good resistance bands for home workouts and changed my diet while on Lockdown. That's made the difference. Plus doing 10k steps minimum a day. People undeestimste the effectiveness of walking.

Fair point, I think my definition/understanding off the types is due to me mixing both shape & size.

Size, I don't go by too much as height drastically determines what 'sizes'..erm..are within their bmi range (can't think of a good way to word it without potentially being rude) I.e. Me being 5'1" is over weight as a 12, where as someone who is 6' could be underweight.

I suppose if we look at the likes of Jessica rabbit, she's shapely but thin in the middle (provided she's not got excellent spanx on lol) but an hourglass so I guess that would mean curvy, not athletic...

But yes, I think there is some cross over between them all on here

Anyway the ladies in here are all lovely shapes
