We have one over 12ft tall in our stairwell. They're easy to grow, need virtually no attention and look great illuminated with led lights. Weeping fig is great and leafy but doesn't like drafts. Aloe vera makes a nice house plant and is easy to grow plus you can use the leaves to provide aloe gel. | |||

Weeping figs are a nightmare to keep! I have quite green fingers, but they never last for me.

Friend's little cat ate the stamen from the inside of lillies from a bunch of flowers and died, so it does happen.

They are quite hard to look after though. Cactus and other succulents are easy to care for.. "I've got three cacti, two in the kitchen and a huge one in the conservatory, I basically water them when I think about it and they don't seem to resent me for it lol | |||

It must be a resilient plant because most plants that come to live with me pass away
Does it flower?"It does once a year - but not as much as it used to. It started off a small plant and now it's about 4ft tall and quite wide - in the same pot - poor thing | |||

It started off a small plant and now it's about 4ft tall and quite wide - in the same pot - poor thing "Obviously I know nothing about their care but I do know some plants like being in a small pot. I bet it you got the correct soil it would be ok anyway. Don't quote me though. | |||
