I get a lot of messages asking for advice:

1. LOTS of light

2. In focus

3. Zoom in on the subject/ object

4. Use Portrait mode if using a phone camera

5. Background, what’s behind the subject is just as important as the subject.

6. Make an effort and copy others

.

.

1. You should always have as much light as possible, natural sunlight is better than in door light bulbs, so shoot in the daytime

2. This is obvious

3. If your shooting a picture of sex or a naked body, the picture should be of that and not of what’s around the subject, so zoom in or get closer, we don’t need to see what’s around the subject.

4. Most people are now using their mobiles and now most of them are good enough to get great pictures. Portrait mode focuses on only the subject and blurs out what’s in the background, this makes the subject stand out even more.

5. No one wants to see, in the background of a picture, toilets, your underwear all over the floor, or socks on!! Come on guys, take your socks off!! A messy background detracts from what we want to focus on and that’s the main subject.

Hope this helps you guys.

6. Make an effort, if you can’t be bothered to look your best of make an effort to look good in your picture, it shows. If you can’t be bothered, then the people looking at your profile won’t be bothered to contact you. If you see some pictures you like, copy them (not literally that’s not on) I mean copy the style and put yourself in the picture doing what you’ve seen and like.

Also, it is impossible to judge the size of a penis on its own, so use something for scale, like say a Sky remote

Excellent advice, which you obviously follow yourselves because you have some wonderful pictures... the subject being hot does help though

Showing your size: No using objects like tin cans and remotes to show your size looks terrible, better to use nothing or your hands but if your determined to show your size, do it properly with a tape measure

I like to put as much effort as possible into my pics.

Cheap props, a tripod with Bluetooth clicker, and a ring light. You really don’t need to spend loads.

Also take lots and lots of pics. I probably delete 95% of mine because they look awful x

Interesting post and had quick scan through your pics.

Some good general points but disagree with the first point "As much light as possible". Dark and shadow are just as important as good contrast can makes for more dramatic and imposing images for nudes and standard portrait.

Is comparing size really that important though?

Admitting I'm not gifted in that department but that's why I use clever advertisement to draw you to the other departments available lol obviously I'm joking and everyone has their own opinion. I just take a few pics and post them . If people like them, great if not.. lesson learnt

Use a tripod if your like me and get terrible camera shake, otherwise known as wanking. Which has in the past got me banned from the frozen food aisle in Asda.

A lot depends on how you hold it, If your not a manual person, use SP (shutter priority), up your shutter speed, try to avoid big-uns as they can cause more shake.

I agree! Without contrast an image can look flat and uninteresting.

(Something I'm trying to learn more of)

That is an idea but what you need to do is take picture of the Sky remote, shrink the image and then layer the it picture of your cock using something like Photoshop.

Plain and simple advice, OP, yes.

All of our pics are taken using our mobile phones. We're happy with the results. The other thing I'd add, is to have fun. We have an idea in mind and use a voice activated shutter, then just relax and enjoy ourselves.

...you broke your 'no sock' rule in your latest pic, OP. It's still a great pic!

"Keep it simple, you don’t need tripods or photoshop, mobile phones have all the technology you need if you use them right"

There is huge gap between nude snaps and nude photography. Phones are very suffisticated these days but they are still machines with algorithms. To say you don't need tripods or photoshop etc is true but it doesn't necessarily make for a good photograph, post processing is a major part and can be a considerable time consuming part of photography workflow.

Yes you don't need them but that that can be the difference between taking pictures and photography.

I did an international tour talking at photography symposiums, going through all aspects of photography including mobile phones.

So many times you get a guy wanting to photograph women or couples on this site. Never wanting anything in exchange but when you check out their pictures, they’re terrible. Obviously not wanting to show their best work but always on some other website.

Makes a pleasant change that someone offering good advice by backing it up with decent pictures as well.

Great advice and bookmarking for my next photo shoot

Of course it is not inappropriate. Welcome to reply privately, msg me and can point you in the direction of some good resources - but what I would suggest is find me in general chat if I'm there we can talk more, people know me. Also during the week often on cam in studio so you can see me and this is not a fake come-on

To those who like dark pictures with light shadows. Shoot in a completely dark room, use one point of light across the subject, not a flash, this could be a second mobile phone light on continuously and then shoot the subject being lite by the one light source across the body.

You would of course need two phones and two or three people but the more the merrier when it comes to nude/ sex shoots

That may be so but you were giving incorrect advice, and I just corrected it - you were making incorrect assertions as I would tell my students. The post about camera shake was a light hearted response to the tripod post, the the suggestion about photoshop was a response to the the Sky remote post, by using something like photoshop to reduce sixes the Sky image to make their cocks look bigger, with I'm sure many do.

The last scenario would require high F stop, low shutter speed, and low ISO, and something solid to hold the camera or phone with not a person, even before any light is provided.

These Forums are rife with people wanting to take photos of naked women as a door opener for a meet.

But if you are genuine Its great that you are offering advice but make the advice has the be accurate,

The one thing I recommend wholeheartedly is an intervalometer, or time lapse if you're on a phone. Frame your shot, set up the amount of exposures you want to capture and a time interval and go and have some fun. No need to keep saying "Shoot" or running back and forth, just pose and the camera/phone clicks away. Be prepared to throw away 98% of them, but the ones you keep and use should be pretty good!

One other one - be selective. Vary things, be it outfit, position, location... I'd rather see a profile with 20 different photos than 250 of the same stuff.
