There seems to be a considerable amount of spectators in the stands, although not full, but hardly distancing

One day cricket is a different ball game, so to speak, but I've watched and listened to a hell of a lot of Test Cricket over the years.

That ball from Moeen to get Kohli was beautiful. It pitched a foot outside off and hit the top of middle and leg. I thought Kohli’s reaction was priceless, very much a case of “They’ve come to see me bat, not you bowl”

Another 200 hundred runs I'll be able to relax a little bit.

England have developed in to a very good team over the last few years by winning the world Cup they've set their sights on toppling some of the best in form teams out there.

This should be another nail biting game

Agreed. England can take 4 wickets and keep the score below 350, but that pitch is perfect for India's attack. India in control for sure.

It’s a piss poor pitch for a test match. I know we prepare pitches that favour our bowlers and our conditions but it’s rare to have a test in this country that is effectively over by lunch on day two.

If this pitch was prepared for a county match in this country then the host county would be docked points and rightly so.

If I was cynical, I'd say the authorities sacked the groundsman after 1st match and got one to under prepare this one so they' win it.

Well considering that prior to the first test, India had only lost 1 at home out of about 36, I'm sure there's more to it than that

Save it? They're 250 ahead with wickets in hand. They can set 400+ - it will be England looking to save it (or, more likely, going down guns blazing).

Probably try and bat to just after tea tomorrow and say give England 15 to 20 overs in which to loose 4 or 5 wickets then step forth Root, Stokes and Bairstow. They will bludgeon The Indian attack and play cosmic cricket!

No plan B required!
