Somewhere near here

Never go there and say something. It would be horrible position to put her in. For me, I don’t mix fab world with “real world”. I’ve blocked people I know, I’ve also met people I know, but not realising until meeting, rules were put in place when we realised but I don’t think either of us would have met had we realised

There's a chance it could be a revenge profile from an ex and she knows nothing about it.

If you've seen it then loads of people she knows or works with will have seen it.

Some people are happy with the whole town gossiping about them behind their back. She may well know her profile is identifiable and love the attention.

She may be naïve and think no-one knows her secret.

Nope nope nope. Do NOT tell her in real life.

She, like you, has a right to a personal life outside work. If you have seen her she may have seen you. If not mentioned there is a message there...

Say you do tell her - she may not appreciate it and could claim (rightfully) that a co-worker is trying to discuss sex with her.

She may look you up and down and go "Yeah I know" and walk off laughing

You could be wrong, its not her, you say something and all the things above are why you will not be a coworker for long

Ignore it.

How would you feel if you hadn’t seen her profile and she waltzed up to you and outed you?

I’ve had a friend do it and that was pretty uncomfortable to be honest.

Let sleeping dogs lie is my advice. She might even take it really badly and tell colleagues what you’ve done.

A bloke at work's girlfriend posted pics on Facebook of them in bed together. He doesn't have Facebook because he is fiercely private and hates things like that.

His mates etc were laughing at them because the pics weren't really suitable for Facebook.

I told him- he had no idea she'd posted them. She hadn't asked him, he thought the pics were private between them.

Ended up I was the bad guy. He's still mates with the people who were laughing at him behind his back.

Fascinating to imagine gender roles reversed. Man publishes pics of girlfriend without permission, her friends appalled, man gets arrested (as should be). Interesting sideline to Op's note, but actually may help illustrate different thought process M/F that could *still* see Op speaking to work colleague

If you are interested in her, use the site system. I wouldn’t raise the fact that you worked together, more that you are interested in her profile or pics. It is fab that you have in common here not work. If she does not reply. Leave it.

Also don't people have colleagues anymore?

Always work colleagues (which is exactly what a colleague is).

Say nothing, don't block and just keep your knowledge up your sleeve. It's inevitable that we are likely to come across people on here who we know in the outside world. I've been blocked by several local people, including a neighbour four doors away. With swingers being a fairly close knit community, it only takes a bit of delving especially if you are verified, and with connections, to discover who the people are who have really blocked you in your locality, especially again if they are too are verified. Then you are then sat there secure in the knowledge that although they know who you are, they don't that you know who they are. The chances are that if you block her, she might make it her business to find out exactly who you are in exactly the same way as I do with people from this area who block me.

If you have a problem with her being on the forum, you have to question your own morality of why you are on here yourself. She has as much right to be here as yourself unless you consider yourself more worthy to be on the forum then her or are you too embarrased that she might recognise you and that is probably where your problem lies, so in which case to resolve the problem leave. Otherwise, just stop worrying about her being here as she is only here for the same reasons as yourself unless you do not think she should be having some fun whereas it's OK for yourself to have some fun.
