Where are all the Fab musicians?

I'm really missing gigs and live music.

There's something super sexy about watching a man caress a guitar. Even better if he has a voice like an angel to serenade me with

Would love to hear any recordings people have if they would like to share? Or will I just await the rusty trombone jokes?

Bit of a stretch to call myself a musician, but I

play the guitar, still very average, mainly cause I don’t practice enough.

Hubby is a musician and is hugely missing playing with his bands.

Mainly a drummer, he also plays bass, piano and a bit of guitar.

Can't wait until I can watch live music again.

We both have music degrees. Hannah sings, I (Luke) principally play the piano but guitar is my second instrument. There's a video of me playing in our gallery. Feel free to view and tell us all how hot you got watching!

I've been playing drums since I was 12, at 19 I was touring England with the glitterati and biffy Clyro lasted 4 years till I had to come home.

Then played in cover bands etc.

Then started singing in bands.

Been singing properly for around a year now training etc.

Loads to learn still without a doubt your voice is the hardest thing to use properly.

And now the plan is to be a mentor for band advice all the studio help and equipment etc.

Also on mental health and anxiety.

Id love it to be my job full time but thats unrealistic.

I'll do it for me and to still be creative.

Also starting a new cover band when this thing is over.

Here well although an oldy. Have to admin that not any woman has told me that I'm super sexy as I play with my organ on cam in chat (Not actually an organ but is good for many large organ and fingering jokes - stage piano and synths mainly)

I've been known to pick a tune out on the ol' geetar. I rarely get up the dusty end tho.

Magical hands thanks for sharing.

I've dabbled learning the piano myself but I'm too impatient. I want to sit down and be able to play an entire song perfectly within the first 15 minutes.

Somewhere over the rainbow...

I miss live music sooooooo much. I’m in a folk duo so we haven’t really been able to even rehearse let alone perform anything. We tried at the start of lockdown to stay busy but I’ve struggled to even have the drive to do it.

My partner is an out of work sound engineer and has worked his bollocks off trying to get into online streaming but it just isn’t possible at the moment. It’s just all so very sad.

And for what it’s worth. Guitar players definitely have the best hands in my opinion. ??

I really think music is essential for life! I hope you can both get back to what you love soon!

Thank you. So do I. It’s such a part of who I am. This last year has been tough. But there have been moments of brilliance. We have friends that have done some amazing online gigs, they are just getting fewer with lockdown 2 and 3.

Not one to be conventional I'm a drummer vocalist and also gigged solo as a guitar vocalist since the late eighties after deciding drummers were largely unoticed in a band.

Sometimes you've got to say please

Sometimes you got to say hey.....

Diagonally Parked in a Parallel Universe

I'm in a bluegrass covers band, but we don't take it serious. It's a bit of fun.

I do a lot of promotion of unsigned and small-label musicians to an international audience, showcasing their original material.
