i'm reading that the mercury dropped to -21.4°c in Braemar last night. now that's fookin' cold!!

is there anyone in Braemar who survived?

Worthing

Used to live in a non-centrally heated house. We managed just fine and never really worried about the cold. Had a couple of gasfires in lounge and dining room. Were made of tough stuff in those days!
