How do you dress for work? Casual, smart? Has it changed since the pandemic started (may not be applicable to all).

I'm going to start a line of smart business pyjamas

Jumper on the top. PJ's or sweatpants on the bottom.

I find it irritating when people zoom in a shirt and tie.

I’ve gone slightly scruffier, a casual shirt and jeans rather than work shirt and trousers

I still wear the work shirt sometimes and roll up the sleeves because it causes moistness in others

Seriously if it's a business zoom call, i still expect people to dress reasonably smart. Not shirt & tie smart but, no scruffy t-shirt or pj's

.

Yes. At first I'd still go through the rigmarole of wearing a dress, proper underwear, hair done to perfection.

Now I'm still clean and presentable but it's more likely to be a t-shirt and cardigan or if I'm talking to clients, a blouse and a bralette.

I turned the camera off on my last one and said it wasn’t working. I had just got out of the shower so wasn’t dressed properly and had wet hair. You can get so much more done when they’re not watching you.

Same as I used to wear for work but then it wasn’t suited and booted for that so it’s not a problem

When I'm teaching, it's pretty similar to normal times - yesterday a knitted dress and tights. Today, leggings with oversize shirt and vest top underneath - I've worn such things to work before in the "real" world. The only thing I've really worn that's different to "usual" is if I stick a hoodie on to avoid putting the heating on. At work, I'd usually wear a smart cardigan instead. I wouldn't teach in the hoodie though or attend a senior management meeting with it on!

In march of last year id get fully dressed, shirt, jeans all that...

Now i just throw on a clean t-shirt and have PJ bottoms on...

Occasionally i'll not wear anything on the bottom and send one of our managers a pic during the calls (she was my FB before lockdown, and we've still be sexting throughout)

I just have to remember to turn my cam off before i stand up!

I've really made a point of sticking to work clothes for work (smart jeans / shirt / jumper etc).

I've found it helps getting ready after walking the pup, going into the office upstairs and working as normal... it means I can close the office door at five, get changed and there is proper separation from work time.

It’s usually a smart cardi (Bra optional) and my best panties. I find it gives me that confidence I need to negotiate the best deals

There and to the left a bit

Currently wearing ling sleeve top and my boxers as I sit staring at the screen!!

Once showered will add jeans and a hoody to that.

As I've worked from home for years my standard wear is usually jeans and a top anyway.

Joggers and jumper and a nice scarf if it saves me putting the heating on

It saves on lots of ironing especially with schools closed too

The people I know who WFH wear the same as they would if they were going into work. I'd be the same. I think it's important to have a clear definition between work and not work.

work appropriate clothing is important to me and often to the people interact with. If I was consulting a financial expert for instance and they popped up on my screening casual wear I'd have less confidenceiin them than if they were smartly dressed.

anyone see the "I'm not a cat" zoom call?

Definitely the cat one for me. We were laughing so much. Him saying "I'm not a cat" as if people thought he was

"Onesie "
that's hilarious!! I would laugh if I was on work call and someone in a onsie... At first I would wear a shirt over a tracksuit (classy) but now I couldn't be bothered (obvs depends who on the other end of course!) but this morning I just had jeans and a t-shirt... Bah

Good point. I would make an effort with seniors leadership team meetings
