"If the couple are looking for single males, and you match their criteria, send a message. Address both of the couple though, and be aware of the dynamic involved.Unless their profile states otherwise, contact who you fancy and whose filters allow." This^ Plus using the forum to try to bypass the usual messaging process while maintaining sincerety is a difficult skill to master

"Right so, I’m finding the dynamic with couples very different to that of single women on here, do couples prefer a guy to make the first move message wise? As it’s their relationship and I would just be a guest, sending a message first may come across a bit forced. I’m a big couples fan I have found. Which I really didn’t envisage when I joined, each is soooooo different. But fun. Anyway what’s your preference if you had to choose? I can imagine most are inundated with messages from single guys anyway!" I used to be part of a couples profile on here. It didn’t bother us who made the first move in terms of messaging as such, the most important part was to be respectful of boundaries if and when it progressed to the point of meeting. We had some good and some dreadful experiences with single males, the latter usually boiling down to blatant disregard in the heat of the moment of what we’d been very clear about in terms of our boundaries. Hope that makes some sense.

I 2nd this, address them both and talk to them both. Don't ignore the male. Plus have "couples" on your profile. The amont we've had lately with just looking for the female. Their title and status refers to them looking for single females. Why write to a couples account?

We constantly get messages to K telling him his wife is fantastic. I wish people would talk to us both rather than assume I never read messages. T x

Definitely this ^ Most importantly addressing them both is the best way and a nice message does go a long way
