Who is calling you fake?

Perhaps get the site to verify you with the verification picture function. I didn't bother with it until someone pointed the something out to me ...minus the good-looking bit.!!

There are stupid people, and cautious people.

I asked someone from a Facebook app years ago for a specific verification photo, because, he too was very good looking and had a very fit and muscular body.

Cynical me was expecting him to disappear, but no, the pic arrived of him just out of bed, tousled hair, doing the silly thing I asked of him.

On here you can upload direct photos, but I would be cautious as to what I send because there are also some nefarious creatures on here.

I just don't give them a second thought if they decide I'm fake. I'm not here to prove I'm real to anyone, if somebody wants to believe I'm fake for whatever reason then I don't really have the fucks to give to change their mind. I'm here for me and my own reasons, not them and theirs.

Unfortunately, navigating the choppy waters on here and trying to avoid being catfished and scammed is common. People are wary and rightly so. I've been catfished and it's not a nice feeling.

If a profile picture looks way too good to be true, it’s simple to check if the image is real. Suggest a reverse image search or send a live pic from here. If people are still mean to you, I suggest the Block Button is your friend, then they can't accuse you anymore. P.S. You are handsome

Problem with this reverse image is the genuine people who are not fake can be targeted. When I first joined here I stupidly put a photo up of me and I was stalked.....I’ve learnt a lot since then and now will not send any new people my face pic. No point as I’m only here now for the forums.....the idiots have changed me........

The geezer was adamant the dude in the photos was him, started getting really pushy telling me to just get a taxi to where he was and I could see for myself and what did it matter if he wasn't the dude in the photos as he's a good looking bloke and it's 'just sex'

He eventually sent me a photo of the real him (I pretended I was tempted coz I needed to solve the mystery, and told him I needed to see who I was going to meet so I didn't walk up to the wrong person)

Didn't even have the same skin colour as the dude in the photos and a good 20 years older.

I was genuinely fearful that someone else may not be as savvy to reverse search and may have fallen foul. He was pushy as fuck in the messages so I dread to think how he would have been in person. Someone scared feeling way out of their depth and not knowing how to handle the situation when confronted by him in person could have had dire consequences.

I met a guy from here who put up fake photos after we'd met. When I messaged him about it he deleted them and denied doing it. People are odd.

It’s not difficult to prove you are genuine so if someone suspects you're fake and you think they're worth it then just sort something out between the two of you whether it's a video chat or a special request pic etc.

You'll always get people who throw out the fake insult before they even give you a chance to prove yourself but they're doing you a massive favour as they aren't worth your time anyway.

I get so many messages accusing me of using fake photos and photoshop but I've proved myself to those who matter and that's what you should focus on too.

I more than a picture person to be honest I like to know the guy we are meeting isn’t a dick so normally chat for a year or two before meeting them, usually gives time for the wrong uns to come a cropper

We wouldn’t meet anybody that hadn’t got any veris on display, on display means you can look at the people who verified them and when. Had a guy message once with none, told him we wouldn’t meet until he was so he went and met someone purposely, I still chatted to him for over 6 months before agreeing just to see him in person at a train station we’re passing through, he was as lovely in his pics and his messages in real life so invited him to our home, happy to say it was lots of fun and still in contact
