So I'm interested in knowing what got everyone through the past year. What could you have not done without whilst going through this.

So whilst going through a Divorce and Covid at the same time, mine was Rum, Music and work. Just when I needed to throw myself into work, it ramped up big time (Healthcare)

Built a summer house

Fitted it out like an old gentlemen’s club.

Bought a grandfather clock for it that ticks so fucking loudly you can hear it from the house.

Just like the idea of leather wallpaper, a globe full of whisky and said clock. Defo old tho, gonna have to say no on the gentleman bit.

Work (weirdly busier than ever fortunately)

Gardening (best it’s looked in years)

Building a greenhouse

Reconnecting with old friends

Morose cat

Fabs

Experimenting with different coffee beans

Setting up a home gym

Baking sourdough

Occasional bit of Netflix

Basically, staying very busy. No time to get bored. Making the most of the hand I’ve been dealt.

(these are not ranked in order btw )

Lovely walks right on my doorstep - even in the chilly snowy days
