Just noticed this:

fabswingers.com site news: We've made improvements to CHAT so that UNLIMITED blocks are now allowed in chat, up from 500. Thanks to those who provided feedback on this :

Christ if you need more than 500 blocks then surely you are a little too sensitive to been on this site! #justsaying I’ll wait to be shot down and blocked now!

You’re not a single female .... upwards of 150 messages a day if you block the ones you’re not interested in or ones that return your ‘no thank you’ with abuse ..... even on a good day you’re blocking 100 a day....

Not sensitive. Just don't want certain people to talk to me for all sorts of reasons.

It’s not that people are sensitive... it’s more that there are far too many abusive idiots on here

Some guys just don't stop messaging unless you block them. Nothing to do with being sensitive.

We've had guys message every week for nearly a year despite not ever getting a reply.

We block cock flashers (there's a lot of them on this site) and anyone we'd rather not get a message from. That can amount to a lot.

We block men that go tit blind and can’t read and men we have no interest in to save them wasting their time so 500 is not a great amount.

Even though I know women can get a lot of messages, stuff broken down like that still baffles me. I think my blocks are still in the single digits

500 blocks is a lot. Crikey. Weve just checked and we have 46. We would have to be on the site over 10 years to get to anywhere near 500.

We don't block that often, it takes a lot for us to hit that button. We also appreciate that people hit the block button for lots of different reasons though.

Each to their own and all that.

If people want to use it then what's the problem? I'm certainly not gonna get angry about a new feature being added. Fab will thrive or die based in how it operates so it's likely to give the people what they want, right?

I block alot of pests, people I dont like for whatever reason, people who live far too close etc etc. Why?

Because my photos are on here and I decide who I allow to see them and who I allow to message me. Nothing sensitive about it, just a free choice

I have been on fab for over 10 years now thou I did leave for a bit last year and came back , but in all that time I can say I only had 3/4 on my blocked list. I people look to get blocked so I don't play their game.

After reading this thread I thought I would count how many guys I had blocked over the 4-5 years of being on Fab.

I knew it was a lot, and it is 246 so far.

I block for numerous reasons, & once someone is on my block list they remain there.

It is usually guys who are Timewasters. Have actually stood me up after arranging a meet. Catfish. Rude. Into things that are illegal. Or ones that keep pestering me & can't understand the meaning of the word no.

It is good to know that there isn't a limit on how many can be blocked, as on joining Fab I had heard somewhere that once your block list hits 500 then you can't continue blocking new people without removing some from your list first.

There's no limit as to how many you can block - just the earliest blocks will automatically disappear of your block list once you've reached list capacity, which is now 500, so you're good for another 5 years or so

Bet I’ve maxed out on my single profile.

There’s some right nasty people on here that sends abusive messages, then there’s the ‘whys my man messaged you off our couples profile’ brigade. The ones offering d**gs, the obvious fake couples, the ones who mail me as they are customers at work or I went to school with and last but not least the infamous ‘aaah (real name), bet you’d be shocked if you knew who I was but I’m not telling’ fellas.

I block like Billy-o. It’s gotta be said.
