Just had a discussion with my mum about wearing thongs.lol

She still wears them and is 58 and was asking me if she should chuck them away.

Haven't got a clue what age women wear them until but thought I know where I can ask.

Obviously she won't know I asked here.

Deepest darkest Peru

I think as long as you’re comfortable wearing them age doesn’t matter

I don't think that there is an age to stop wearing thongs.

I wear soft lace thongs most of the time and don't own any "granny knickers". No intention of changing what I am comfortable in.

It's down to the individual I think. I find them uncomfortable so stopped some time ago. Also my bottom just doesn't look like it used to in them

If she likes wearing them she should keep on wearing them. My mums 41 and still does.

She won't be asked to show any idea when buying them

I'm in my 50s and I go commando most the time but I occasionally wear thongs. I'll keep wearing them or not for as long as I want

I wear them for sexy evenings but don’t wear them everyday unless height of summer.

Prefer “boy shorts” for everyday under jeans.

I used to work in a nursing home. None of the 80+ ladies wore them lol

Hope that helps!

Thongs, IMO, are to chavvy.

Just my opinion.

Doesn’t mean I’m calling anyone a chav by the way.

Why does there have to be a cut-off for thong wearing? I stopped at 25 when I was pregnant with my first child. I tried a few months after giving birth but they felt so uncomfortable compared to the lovely full briefs I'd been wearing as up until that point.

My mum is 63 and still wears thongs.

I'm 60 and I've never worn them.

I do have a sketch about thongs and being fat though, made up one day in an Evans changing room in the early 90's when my bezzie (an Alanis Morrisette double) dared a then very fat me to try one on.

The decision on where to put my labia kept us amused for almost an hour.

Diagonally Parked in a Parallel Universe

When your arse looks like a ball of Edam cheese being sliced by a cheese-wire I would suggest is a good time to stop wearing them!

I never wore thongs I don't like the constant wedgie feeling

I will if I know that's what he likes and I'm going to have sex

I wear frenchies mostly

But after having a csection rediscovered how comfortable normal knickers are
