I live out in the countryside and I'm always naked and wanking in my house without the curtains pulled. It's never been a problem before lock down but just recently with everyone out excerising I've caught people staring in and also had the police at my door for apparently exposing myself.

Anyone experiencing this

I would be very interested to know what the police actually said as I understand the law is clear that it is not illegal to be naked at home (or even outdoors) and any activity that would attract police attention would have to have quite serious sexual behaviour.

https://www.cps.gov.uk/legal-guidance/nudity-public-guidance-handling-cases-naturism gives a good description.

There is a difference between being naked and masturbating where you can be seen from public places.

I agree but OP said he was at home in the countryside and not in a public place. He would have to be explicitly wanking in the windows for his behaviour to attract police attention. The link is quite clear:

"Section 66 Sexual Offences Act 2003 requires a person to intentionally expose their genitals and intend that someone will see them and be caused alarm or distress."

which also means under big long skirts is permissible outside just don't make it too obvious.

What did the discussion with the police cover about your exposure? How close are you to public rights of way?

It sounded like you'd had a lot of people seeing you op. Did several complain?

Surely you could see them if they could see you?

I think it completely depends if I'm walking around my living Room naked with all the windows open so that people can see in I think that is considered if somebody finds it offensive an offence.

If I am masturbating in my own living Room but in front of an open window for anyone to see that is also considered an indecency offence I'm sure.

What we do in the privacy of our own homes should be protected however if it is causing alarm or offence than people have the right to complain.
