I think it's fair to say our profiles are similar to a CV in some ways.

It can list past experience, what we believe we're skilled at and hoping to find.

So surely a reasonably detailed profile ( not too long ) can only help anyone actively seeking compatible people on Fab.

However if your expertise and qualifications in a working environment was say in Civil Engineering, you're hardly likely to apply to be a Nurse.

The point being it's very much horses for courses on Fab I think many have unrealistic expectations on here.

I'm for example only on here seeking something specific and a bit of decent chat along the way.

A little effort goes a long way in my book. Maybe I'm reading too much into it does anyone else agree ?

I think they are a snapshot of someone’s personality.

But I could be reading too much into it as well

The best CV's should be concise with bullet points which can be expanded on at an interview if you get that far.

Most prospective employers will ignore long detailed CV's that take to long to read as they don't have the time and have lots of other candidates to sift through.
