Are you like a make up guru or barely know your foundation to your concealer?

Do you like to do a full glam look or not really?

And what do you struggle to do the most?

I’d say I’m alright could be better, maybe I’d rate myself 6.5/10

The thing I struggle to do the most is a freaking good cat eye ... doing the exact same on both eyes is a miracle, having said that when it happens I certainly am feeling myself!

On point Eyeshadow is also another thing I can get wrong from time to time.

I'm very knowledgeable about all aspects of makeup as I've worn makeup since I was around 13 and I used to be very into it at one stage and taught myself everything there is to know and I keep up with all the new trends etc.

I'm pretty good with makeup but nothing like the makeup artists you see around these days.

I suck at eyeshadow but I think that's more because my eyes are hooded. I can not do a wing liner at all even after practising for over 10 years.

My makeup is quite simple day to day, with just a base and then mascara, brows and lips but I do it pretty well.

I love some NYX and also kiko Milano has some great lipsticks and glosses! (For both price and quality)

Shit who I why I wear the bare minimal, if any.

However, I do get dark circles so I bought concealer this week (online) that is darker than my skin colour as I read (on two different articles) that that is supposed to help conceal undereye circles.

So yes it does work. But how am I supposed to disguise the fact that my under eyes are now 2 shades different to the rest of my face??

Kinda make me feel a bit better that I also kinda suck at it, I mean it is getting better but I wouldn’t lie if I said it was easy ... also when I mess up with liquid eyeliner ...

Maybe put a light coat of powder foundation to make the whole face match x I’d say x

I never use liquid eyeliner, I find a pencil easier.

Im ok but not great, again hooded lids make it difficult can do wings though but only because I do it differently to everyone else.

I pull the skin at the outer corner and start my wing on the outer corner towards inner. I do it in 1 fast smooth motion and then tidy it up if necessary.

They are rarely sisters more distant cousins but im pleased with them.

I use boots soap and glory cats eye and used the thick and thin version as its the easiest ive found. Its like a fine tipped felt tipped pen and it lasts well.

10/10 brilliant at what I wear - mascara and lip balm. 8/10 with a bit of eyeshadow if I'm feeling myself.

Anything else - don't wear it, never attempted, guessing bad.

I'm not very good with mine at all, I know what I need to do but doing it is a different thing altogether.

I struggle to do my eyeliner, I tend to blink when anything goes near my eye and end up with a straight vertical line going up my eyelid so liquid eyeliner is a big no and wings are never even or defined.

Eyeshadow is hard as I've got hooded eyes so closed I look like a bad Lily Savage, open it hardly shows.

I'd love to know how to contour, I've tried but it looked awful.

I get colour matched for concealer and foundation which is great for my face but at the neck it shows up as I have red skin on my neck.

I really should practice more as I very rarely do my make up, maybe once a month at most.

I’m ok as long as I stick with natural shades. I tend to go for a fairly natural look anyway - always have. Avoids outrage when guys see you sans cosmetics the next morning!

I think we all agree on eyeliner being difficult haha! There are some great tutorials on YouTube and I guess it takes a bit of practice, I totally feel u about the eyelid, I found ways to keep it still but then at times it still happens that I blink....

I have worn full makeup since 13 and understand my own face, skin areas, lines, contours of my face and have learned what styles compliment me.

I am utterly crap at bat wing eyeliner stuff and false eye lashes as they do not suit me at all.

As I am ageing I am noticing that I am altering my makeup slightly to suit and I am enjoying the new experiments I am having.

I let my 24 year old daughter do my makeup a few weeks ago, and the idea was for her to do her makeup style on me. I had contouring, 10 tonne of concealer, bat wing eyeliner, false eye lashes. It really didn't suit me but was fun to play around with makeup together.

I'm fine at doing the kind of makeup I wear.

I don't wear it everyday, in fact, I mostly don't bother, unless I'm going somewhere or I'm just really in the mood to do it.

If I'm wearing it it's usually foundation, highlighter, blush, cat eye liner, mascara and (normally red) lipstick. I only put on eye shadow if I'm on a night out or something. It takes me about 20-30 minutes, maybe a bit less if I rush.

Just out of curiosity, did u Teach ur daughter ur make up tricks or did she take it on YouTube?

When she was younger I taught her about applying makeup, blending etc. She has done a beauty course and watches vids and is really so much better with her eyeshadow than I am but it suits her but not me.

I struggle too...especially with the left eye...can close my right eye and apply the makeup but trying to do the left eye is way more diffficult think I have improved but someone said once less is better than trying to put in too much and making it look awful...I live in hope it will get better...back to YouTube lol xx

I have to be quite careful, the difference in vision between my eyes is noticeable when I do eyeshadow

I love how I do my make-up, goth/emo days mean I'm badass at eyeliner.

However, my make-up is not modern day conventional. I did my own make up for my wedding and my sister's weddings as I hate weird brows and contouring and basically not looking like me.

I'll cover any blemishes, mascara, eyeliner and a little blush/bronzer. But that'll do thanks.

Hahha sort of. It's a bit of a vicious circle. My skin reacts not kindly to all types so far. Thanks for the lockdown in a way - I don't have to worry about wearing it in many places

It's always quite sexy when a woman does my make up, I find.
