Dear friends Fabbers and Forumites.

Ive been a tad absent from the formums in the last month.

Now I have returned and golly so many wonderful new people. Hello to you all its simply spiffing to see you.

I thought it may be a jolly wheeze to introduce ourselves to one another.

Just a few lines to say who we are and about ourselves.

I’m a well travelled bachelor who has been abroad most of my life, returning only 3 years....no, 4 years ago now (I’d quite forgotten to include this past year).

Not much to say about myself really and shan’t take up too much time. I’m certain we’ll come across each other in good time.

One last thing...to everyone who is reading this, I’d like to share the words from my friend’s 13 year old son. “.....thank you for staying home. I wouldn’t want anyone else to have this happen to them.” These were the words he said to those of us on video yesterday evening as he and his mother gave us the sad news that his father, her husband, our friend had succumbed to Covid earlier in the day. That is the 2nd friend I have lost, in my very small circle of friends, in one month.

This is why we are staying home. Thank you everyone.
